Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day-to-day on-site construction activities
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow
- Monitor project schedules and report progress to the Superintendent
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct site inspections to maintain quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Assist in resolving on-site issues and conflicts to prevent delays
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, logs, and inspections
- Support enforcement of safety programs, including toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Communicate effectively with the project team, including engineers, architects, and clients
- Assist in ensuring site cleanliness, organization, and compliance with OSHA regulations
- Monitor materials and equipment deliveries to prevent delays
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus)
- 2+ years of experience in construction, field supervision, or a related role
- Familiarity with construction processes, materials, and safety standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Proficiency in project management and scheduling software
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Work Environment:
- Primarily on-site work at construction projects
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and construction-related hazards
- Requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting materials
