Assistant Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing construction projects from pre-construction to completion
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting efforts
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Track project progress and prepare reports for stakeholders
  • Help in resolving project issues and delays
  • Maintain project documentation, contracts, and permits
  • Review and process change orders, RFI (Request for Information), and submittals
  • Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and ensure adherence to plans and specifications
  • Assist in procurement of materials and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with the project team to ensure smooth operations

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction or project management
  • Familiarity with construction processes, materials, and safety standards
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations

 

Work Environment:

  • Office and construction site settings
  • Occasional travel may be required depending on project locations
