Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the overall accounting and administrative operations of the company.
- Financial Management: Assist with managing accounts payable and receivable, tracking expenses, and preparing financial reports.
- Job Costing: Accurately assign costs to individual jobs to ensure proper allocation of expenses.
- Subcontract Management: Assist with preparing and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, including tracking insurance.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate and organized records both digitally and physically. Ensure that documents are easily accessible when needed, while also protecting confidential information.
- HR Support: Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations, as well as managing employee files, payroll, and benefits administration.
Qualifications
Preferred Background: Prior accounting or relevant bookkeeping experience, bachelor’s degree in a related business field and payroll/payroll tax reporting experience.
Aptitude for Technology: Ability to navigate a variety of computer applications, and a willingness to learn new software. Proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe products is required.
