Project Description

The YWCA started with a vision on a piece of paper and quickly became reality. After demolishing the old Sun N Fun pool house, construction on the multi-purpose facility began. Collier worked with Condray on this project since inception. We worked together through design, pricing and completion of the construction phase.

Construction Methods

The YWCA was built using conventional structural steel, light gauge metal stud framing, masonry veneer, metal panel veneer and TPO roofing system. There were many unique elements that set this building apart including: a custom designed shade canopy, custom fabricated 3Form exterior lighting elements, full size gym, rock wall tower, fitness room, racquetball court and more. The building sits around an existing pool facility and required special plans for cut and fill to raise the entire building above the flood plain.
